AHOY! All Auckland Tangueros, Enjoy the magnificent Village of Devonport right on the wharf. It’s an area the Auckland Council have kindly set aside right inside the wharf with the good floor for dancing and a roof for all seasons. A place where all the admiring passengers going to & from CBD can take tango inspiration. It’s a great venue with so much to offer. Including the best fish & chips, cafes, & old-world charm. Watch the marine world unfold right before your eyes. Come and join us Once a Month - every first Sunday of the month from 3.30 pm - 6.00 pm. Just bring your shoes and a portable chair or cushion (in case you may want to sit out the odd tanda), thermos for drinks and warm jackets/ jersey - still a bit chilly sometimes. Parking available out side the building and plenty of off-street parking around the area. If coming from CBD via the Ferry, it’s only 12 minutes ride and boom! You’re there and ready to dance!
