Tango POP
Power of Practice
This is not a Milonga but a place to come and practice with other tango dancers. At a Milonga, I like to enjoy the moments, the embrace, the music, the chat, the food, the dancing experience, to focus on the person in your embrace, the small adjustments to suit the partner and the music, the other dancers in the ronda. This is not the time to focus on your balance, technique, weight transfer, foot positions, how am I doing?
A practice session is the place to work on those things; technique for walking, turns, giros, sacadas, boleo, balance, head position, foot strength, phrasing and so on…partners not necessary. People will hopefully help one another for trying things out.
Please join me with an agenda of your own to work on. I am working on recovering strength in my feet and ankles after a long period of not being able to dance.
I will provide music and there is a kitchen with water, or bring your own water/energy drink, snacks. Parking on site or in street.
$10.00 per person 5:00pm-7:00pm Saturdays Commencement date Saturday 18 January, for four consecutive Saturdays. Little white building at 126 Pt. Chevalier Road, Pt. Chevalier.
