Implications of MOH COVID-19 rules for Auckland tango

An interpretation for vaccinated and unvaccinated milongueros and tango event organisers of what tango can and will be able to happen in Auckland for different currently published COVID-19 rule levels:

Alert Level 3 Step 2 [NOT RELEVANT BEYOND 2 DECEMBER]

Outdoor workshops are possible with limits of:
• 25 people maximum
• No mandatory requirement to restrict to vaccinated attendees
• No mandatory requirement to physically distance, just strong encouragement

Alert Level 3 Step 3 [NOT RELEVANT BEYOND 2 DECEMBER]

Outdoor or indoor workshops are possible with limits of:
• 50 people maximum
• No mandatory requirement to restrict to vaccinated attendees
• No mandatory requirement to physically distance, just strong encouragement

Red – Protection Framework
At outdoor or indoor places with vaccination certificate requirements, it will be possible to run physically distanced workshops (but not practicas, milongas or festivals) for up to 100 vaccinated people with no unvaccinated people allowed to attend
[UPDATE – FROM 3 DECEMBER IT NOW SEEMS POSSIBLE THAT ORGANISERS WILL BE ABLE TO RUN PRACTICAS AND MILONGAS AS PHYSICAL DISTANCING MAY BE ENCOURAGED RATHER THAN REQUIRED]

Orange – Protection Framework
At outdoor or indoor places with vaccination certificate requirements, it will be possible to run workshops, practicas, milongas and festivals for an unlimited number of vaccinated people with no unvaccinated people allowed to attend

Green – Protection Framework
At outdoor or indoor places with vaccination certificate requirements, it will be possible to run workshops, practicas, milongas and festivals for an unlimited number of vaccinated people with no unvaccinated people allowed to attend

At outdoor or indoor places with no vaccination certificate requirements, it will be possible to run physically distanced workshops (but not practicas, milongas or festivals) for up to 100 vaccinated and unvaccinated people
