Joaquin Amenabar has released the English version of his new tango dance musicality ebook “Tango – Let’s Dance to the Music ! – Volume II” and it is now available for purchase and download from his website joaquinamenabar.com.
The book provides detailed insights into the changing styles of tango dance music by leading tango orchestras through the different eras since the 1920s, as well as examples of how the music can be danced to musically at milongas.
There are 236 pages of detailed analysis of some 150 musical examples from the orchestras, and 25 videos illustrating musical ways to dance to them.
The Volume II ebook builds on the excellent musicality foundations contained in Joaquin’s Volume I book, the content of which has been central to the musicality workshops he has been hosting around the tango world for more than two decades.
As well as its usefulness for tango dancers of all levels (including those with no background in studying music) the book provides great insights for established and aspiring tango DJs and for musicians wanting to improve their understanding of what sets tango dance music apart from other genres of music.
