The film, which was one of the hits of the recent New Zealand film festival, is being screened this weekend at the Lido in Manukau Road, Auckland.
Our Last Tango is the story of the world’s most famous tango couple, Maria Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copes.
Brilliant tango sequences based on the couple’s original choreography are danced by some of Argentina’s current young tango stars and are intertwined with the couple’s heart-wrenching love-hate story, as told by themselves.
