The Tango Club Auckland website, forerunner of the Auckland Tango website, was taken offline during the first week of February 2020, as most of the milongas, practicas, teachers, etc displayed on it were no longer current, and this was causing confusion for some international visitors to Auckland who were checking out the Auckland tango scene on Google ahead of their visits.
So that the content of the former website is not lost, copies of most of the pages have been made and extracts from some of them have been published on the Auckland Tango website under Website Links TangoClub Archive then TangoClub Auckland – About and Tango Club Auckland – Articles. These extracts include coverage of the formation of the TangoClub Auckland, profiles of founders, and tango articles written by club members or found elsewhere during the period 2006 to 2013.
