Since a long time ago we’ve been thinking of preparing our own milonga with a live music so, our Wellington friends, and us can enjoy this unique experience: to dance alongside a live orchestra.
The time has come and we are getting ready with a new repertoire of classical tango, waltzes and milongas in the unique environment that is St. Andrews on the Terrace.
Please come and join Bravo Ensemble on this night that we are calling “La Gran Milonga”
This first event is parts of a project that we wish will end in the recording of the first tango album in New Zealand so, we will appreciate your support on this.
Some extra details:
1- The venue will be set-up as a traditional milonga with the seats and tables placed in the edge of the dance floor.
2- The dance floor is timber so, perfect for tango dancing.
3- For those who want to eat something a “dessert bar” will be open during the evening so, you are able to purchase food. Non alcoholic drinks, coffee, mate and tea will be complimentary with the ticket. (due to the fact that we don’t have a liquor licence, we are unable to have alcohol in the premises)
4- Dress code will be “dress to success”
